(Mathieson currently has stores in Ponsonby and Wellington and also is sold at 24 stockists nationwide.) The Newmarket store, located at 19b Osborne Street, was designed in collaboration with renowned Wellington architect Scott Gordon. Floaty silk dresses mix with tailored jackets and knitted cardigans to give that unique Robyn Mathieson signature. Mathieson, who has been in the business for 20 years now, feels as ‘energized about the store opening and the direction of the Robyn Mathieson brand as when I first started.’—Sopheak Seng... |
